Town of Wethersfield Committee on Culture and the Arts
Minutes of the December 15, 2004 Meeting

Members Present: Mary-Beth Dobmeier, Rita Doyle, Sandra Mulcahy, and Ruth Ann Schumaker and Patricia Viani.

The meeting was called to order at 8:20 p.m.

Since we did not have a quorum, the acceptance of the November 8th meeting was postponed until the January 10th meeting.

Treasurer's Report:

• There was nothing new to report from the treasurer.

New Business:

• Pat received a resignation letter from Anne Eisenman which Rita read to the committee.
• Pat received a call from Claudio Capone, Strategic Planning Department, Town of Wethersfield, inquiring as to what the committee has planned for future programs. He asked if there was anything he could do to help us. Pat told him about the April 22nd Cabaret and that we have 4 summer concerts on the four Tuesday evenings in July. She explained that we have limited funds and we will seek donations from area companies.
• Pat passed around some mail that was received recently. There is a new Knights of Columbus Museum in New Haven and they sent an announcement of their new exhibit.

The meeting adjourned at 8:45 p.m. The next meeting will be held on Monday, January 10 at 7:00 p.m. in the Conference Room next to the Town Manager's Office. Hope to see you all there.
