Ginny called the meeting to order at 5:20 p.m.
Motion: Accept 11/01/06 meeting minutes as edited. Unanimously approved.

Ginny is corresponding with the Connecticut Clean Energy Fund to clarify whether its figure for the Town's electricity usage includes the Board of Education.
Discussed recommending that the Town budget for purchasing some clean energy. Ginny will ask Bonnie for information about the budget process and timeline.
Christopher reported on Cindy's behalf that she forwarded the committee's request for a benchmark analysis to Bill Leahy. He initiated contact with Maurice McCarthy and Mike Turner, and Cindy will help him follow up as needed.
Christopher reported that Cindy volunteered to brainstorm possible energy conservation strategies, in anticipation of identifying opportunities for improvement. Members with ideas may forward them to her for compilation. Judy will follow up with Andy Bower and Christopher with the Town Manager to request other Towns' plans.
Ginny reported there were 97 sign-ups at the end of October.
Christopher reported that the Town received a signed MOU and $5,000 to participate in the Connecticut Clean Energy Fund's Community Innovations Grant Program.
Discussed possible strategies for encouraging sign ups and how to develop a plan for this.
Discussed establishing a monthly schedule and possible dates for a meeting in January.
Judy left at 6:10 p.m., so the meeting adjourned.
