Clean Energy Committee Meeting Minutes

In attendance: Joe Hickey, Cindy Jacobs, and Ginny Judson. Also in attendance: Christopher Shepard. Absent: Michael DiCiccio and Judy Parker.

Ginny called the meeting to order at 4:45 p.m.

Public comments: None.
Community Innovations Grants Program: Christopher presented a grant application from the Wethersfield Ecumenical Energy Conservation Committee for Round I seeking $1,000 to present a moderated showing of "An Inconvenient Truth" on September 29, a talk by Rabbi Keiner on September 30, and encourage residential clean energy sign-ups at each. Motion to award a grant in the amount of $850 for speakers, educational materials, publicity materials, and refreshments as requested. Ginny moved; Joe seconded. Discussion amended the motion to award a grant in the amount of $750 for speakers, educational materials, publicity materials, and refreshments (limited to $100). Approved unanimously. Staff is directed to send an award letter and secure the required information from the grantee per the Community Innovations Grants Program.

Motion to adjourn. Cindy moved; Joe seconded. Approved unanimously. Meeting adjourned at 5:05 p.m.
