The minutes began at 7:10 pm on Thursday, June 5, 2008.
DSYS Update:
- Crossroads: Program was an amazing success.
- Matt, a staff member, and his wife had a baby. He will return in three weeks.
- Bonnie Therrien is asking people to start on next year's budget, as it is anticipated to be a tough year.
- There is a recent increase by Wethersfield residents in the use of the food bank.
YAB Update:
- Rock the Library: Speak with Jim Collin in the fall about this event.
- Volunteer Recognition Night:
- Board agreed the evening went very well.
- Debra Hammer will submit information and pictures to the local paper.
- We will elect officers in the fall. Susan Miller resigned from her post. Kaitlyn Taylor, Ryan Peluso and Ryan Jordan will all be attending college in the fall and therefore will no longer sit on the Board.
