Eleanor Buck Wolf Nature Center, Wethersfield, CT
In attendance: Joe Hickey, Ginny Judson and Judy Parker. Absent: Michael DiCioccio and Cindy Jacobs. Also in attendance: Christopher Shepard.
Ginny called the meeting to order at 4:30 p.m.
- Minutes: Judy moved to approve the November 14, 2007, meeting minutes as corrected. Joe seconded. Approved unanimously.
- Public comments: None.
- Energy Conservation Strategies: No update.
- Connecticut Clean Energy Options Program: Currently have 160 sign-ups. Still need to clarify the benchmark related to the % of households. Judy will contact Bob Wall at the Clean Energy Fund.
- Renewable Energy Earned: Ginny spoke with Bob Wall and is working on scheduling the site visits for the PV array installation.
- Renewable Energy Purchased: The Budget Committee's December 17 agenda includes the request for an additional $1,000 allocation toward the clean energy purchase.
- Community Innovations Grants Program: No update.
- Publicity: No update.
- New Business:
- Discussion of committee membership: Ginny anticipates Town Council appointments for Chris Novak and Michael DiCioccio. Cindy Jacobs announced her intention to resign due to time constraints.
- Joe moved to adopt the 2008 meeting schedule presented. Judy seconded. Approved unanimously.
- Education and outreach discussion: tabled.
- Other Announcements: None
Joe moved to adjourn. Judy seconded. Approved unanimously. Meeting adjourned at 5:15 p.m. Next meeting: January 9, 2008, 4:15 p.m., at the Eleanor Buck Wolf Nature Center.
