The Wethersfield Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to announce the availability of Online Registration for its instructional classes. Everyone will now be able to register for programs from the comfort of their home using a credit card, 24 hours a day/seven days a week, all through an encrypted and secure Internet connection.
Anyone who is interested in registering for programs online must first be registered with our office as a customer. Households who have had family members participate in our programs during the past three years should have received a letter in the mail or an e-mail announcing the program and procedures to follow. To become a newly registered household , download the form "Household Information Form" from our forms page, fill it out, and submit to Wethersfield Parks & Recreation, 505 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield, CT 06109. For security purposes please do not fax or e-mail the form back. Also, information can not be taken over the phone. Once your household has been established in our database you will be contacted and issued a User Name and Password and may begin registering online.
Only a percentage of spots will be available online. The department will continue to accept walk-ins and mail-in registrations. As in the past, those applications will be processed randomly the next business day. Most programs will be available for Online Registration; however, several programs (i.e. Cove Moorings, Gardens) will continue to require in-person registration and will not be available online. Any program that conducts registration online will have a registration cut-off date prior to the start of that class.
