The erection of signs advertising the sale of personal property such as tag sales, yard sales and garage sales is prohibited on all Town properties, except on the property of which the actual sale is taking place.
In addition, only those signs permitted by the Zoning Regulations are allowed to be erected in the Town of Wethersfield. Violators of this ordinance will be subject to fines as prescribed by the Code of the Town of Wethersfield.
The Town has been receiving numerous complaints about signs being placed on Town property and how unsightly this is for Wethersfield. The ordinance will be strictly enforced.
