The Wethersfield Chamber of Commerce’s 30th Annual Cornfest
7,000 people are expected on the Broad Street Green in Old Wethersfield on Saturday, September 20th, from 10am to 6pm. For our big anniversary, the Chamber lowered application fees for both Food Vendors and Non-profits; register today!
This year First Niagara is the Cornfest’s Platinum Sponsor! And back for 2014 will be Black-Eyed Sally’s with its award winning BBQ, Maple Giant Grinder serving their famous arancinis and meatballs, UNICO with Village Pizza, delicious Kettle Corn, and much more. I Made It catering will be introducing special kids’ meals to help parents, and more food vendors are signing up daily! For the Bakers out there, sign up for our “Best Apple Pie Contest” with celebrity judges.
For the young and young-at-heart there will be Inflatable Rides, a Pumpkin Patch, Pony Rides, , Hay Rides’ and kids’ activities including a photo booth and dunk tank. Witness Wethersfield’s up-and-coming musical acts and dancers, cheer on the WHS Band, and enjoy a great day of entertainment on our 2 stages! Free this year will be the CT Child Identification Program (CHIP) for all kids under age 18. Parents will go home with a convenient pack of proven identification methods to help locate your child should he or she go missing. Calling all Entertainers: we want you on our stage; call us today!
We are currently accepting applications from PTO’s, Non Profits, Crafters, Food Vendors and the popular Business Expo. All are invited and welcome to participate, and Volunteers are always appreciated to help make our day a great Community gathering, and the 30th year an extra special one!
