The Richard M. Keane Foundation is sponsoring a Family Picnic of Remembrance, September 7, 2014, from 5 to 7 p.m. on Broad Street Green, to remember the thirteenth anniversary of 9/11. The band Prelude will perform. There is no rain date.
Bring your own blanket or "fancy" table and chairs and a picnic supper. The picnic is held each year to remember those Wethersfield residents who died on September 11, 2001, and to thank Wethersfield volunteers and supporters of the Keane Foundation.
