Provide varied technical and clerical assistance to the office of the tax collector relative to the billing, collection and crediting of taxes. Must have knowledge of and skill in the application of accounting-clerical principles and procedures, and the ability to type and perform basic data entry processes. The ability to pay attention to detail, deal with the public and perform computational tasks with accuracy and speed is essential. Minimum qualifications include a high school education and three years experience in an office clerical/accounting position. This is a 19 1/2 hour position, M-F between the hours of 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., at $13.00/hour.
