Street Hockey Program

The Wethersfield Police Department is starting up a street hockey program for middle-school aged children. The goal of this program is to facilitate positive contacts between the police and the youth through sports.

LOCATION:

Front parking lot of the Community Center, Greenfield Street

WHEN:

First session to be held on Tuesday 9/13/05 (This program will be held 1 night a week and is expected to last for approximately 6 weeks.)

TIME:

4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. (or until dark)

COST:

$5.00 (This is a one-time registration fee.)

All that you will need to bring is a good attitude, your sneakers and the $5.00 one-time registration fee with completed registration form. The Police Department will provide all the necessary equipment. Police officers will be present to supervise and participate.

If interested, please download the registration form [12 KB PDF* file], fill it out and have a parent or guardian sign it, then return it with the $5.00 fee to Lt. Power at the Wethersfield Police Department.
