The Parks and Recreation Department employs seasonal part-time employees year round to supervise a variety of recreational opportunities.

General

The Parks and Recreation Department is accepting applications for the summer season including but not limited to Recreation Leaders, Lifeguards, Pool Attendants, Therapeutic Recreation Leaders, Pre-School Leaders and Nature Center Counselors.

Eleanor Wolf Buck Nature Center

Assistant Manager, Adventures in Summer - Develop and teach ecology lessons, lead outdoor recreation activities, mentor other staff, and help coordinate June 26-August 18 day program for students in grades K-3 or 4-6. Full time week days. Minimum Bachelor’s degree in education or natural/environmental sciences or equivalent experience.

Educator, Adventures in Summer - Develop and teach ecology lessons and lead outdoor recreation activities for students in grades K-3 or 4-6 in June 26-August 18 day program. Full time week days. Minimum Associate’s degree in education or natural/environmental sciences or equivalent experience.
