A Plan for Parents to Protect Their Children through Purchase of a Legal Will

Many families with children do not have a Simple Will in place, and the Wethersfield Youth Advisory Board would like to help fill this unmet need.

What is a Simple Will?

Several local attorneys are participating with the Wethersfield Youth Advisory Board (WYAB) to provide you with this service. Most of the fee will go to the WYAB as a tax-deductible donation. Opportunities are limited.

Pricing for services:
One Simple Will package = $350 ($50 attorney fee, $300 donation to WYAB)
Two Simple Wills package = $500 ($100 attorney fee, $400 donation to WYAB)

Proceeds support programs of the WYAB. The WYAB, established and run according to the Wethersfield Town Code, is a not-for-profit volunteer group providing programs and services for Wethersfield's youth and families.

Who are we?
We are a representative group of Wethersfield residents, educators, town staff and youth who work together to meet the needs of young people in Wethersfield.
What do we do?
  • Support youth in community service activities
  • Sponsor events
  • Raise funds to support youth programs
  • Support Social & Youth Services activities
  • Facilitate communication among youth, town departments and youth serving agencies
Where and when?
We meet the first Thursday of every month from September through June at 7:00 p.m. in the Town Hall Meeting Room.
